Testing of gloves
HANSECONTROL – A test program
Hansecontrol GmbH is a recognized German ISO-certified testing laboratory which tests all OX-ON gloves on a continuous basis for, for example, chemical content, performance, harmful content as well as how high the product quality is.
To make glove manufacturing processes more sustainable and environmentally friendly, Hansecontrol and OX-ON have jointly developed a new sustainable program and certification called "SafeGlove+". SafeGlove+ is intended to ensure that production sites meet stringent environmental standards, health and safety conditions, and high product quality.
REACH - EU Directive on the use of chemicals
The EU REACH list (also called the candidate list) is a list of substances suspected of being harmful to humans, animals or the environment. The list is constantly changing and requires close monitoring. OX-ON does not intend to provide products containing chemicals in the REACH list.

OEKO-TEX - Trust in textiles
OEKO-TEX® is the world's leading health and environmental label for clothing and home textiles.
OEKO-TEX® is a voluntary labeling scheme controlled by the OEKO-TEX® Association which imposes restrictions on a wide range of substances.
Many gloves in OX-ON's wide range are certified with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. You can find them by using product filtering on the website.
SATRA - The glove certification
To approve and certify a glove, OX-ON uses the SATRA certification institute, designated by the EU. Here, the gloves are tested according to the various EN standards.
All OX-ON's gloves have a mark so you can see the EN standards with which the gloves comply. You can make sure your glove is tested by looking for the marks on the glove.
